So Jonathan and I were able to watch most of both conventions.

This election feels like the first that I have been very interested and concerned about.  Unfortunately my college mindset didn’t allow for much thought on politics. I believed that it was something I didn’t know enough about to actually have an opinion, so I just didn’t worry about it.

With more experience in paying taxes, a growing concern for the environment, and an understanding of gov’s power over my hopes for the future, I am now officially concerned.  The thing that worries me the most is the oppression of the evil people already in government.  Can the new president duo really fight that off?  What is the inside story?

I love that Palin sold the jet in Alaska.  It seems so simple in my mind, the state needs money, not a luzury jet.  Why aren’t more people in office like this?  Is there a playground in Washington, meant only for the wealthy and well schooled who decide to let loose with Gov’s money after being elected? hm.
